Río Chillar walk
This is one of the most beautiful walks in the province of Málaga. All you need is an old pair of trainers. It should soon be possible to book in advance, in order to limit the number of hikers and preserve nature.

Going to the beach
Torrox Costa has some beautiful beaches. The small sandy beach just beside the Torrox lighthouse is a real gem.
Visit the old sugar cane factory in Nerja
This is a derelict site, but it’s a great way to discover the industrial past of cane sugar production.

The via ferrata at Zafarraya
The via ferrata at Zafarraya is a colourful ‘vertical hike’ in Andalusia. A via ferrata (which can be translated as ‘vertical hike’) is a route that is both vertical and horizontal, equipped with a variety of equipment.
Note: what you’ll find on a via ferrata: steel holds, chains, suspension bridges and tyrolean traverses, which allow you to safely reach areas that are difficult to access.
