Sayalonga is an authentic white village in Axarquia, in the province of Malaga.

The cultivation of the medlar is important in Sayalonga (a village to discover!) and this festival is recognised as a festival of tourist interest in the province of Málaga.
About the medlar
This fruit, the medlar, is of Asian origin. It is known by different names in different countries:
