A few words about Nerja and the carnival
Nerja, the jewel of the Costa del Sol is located in Axarquia, in the province of Malaga.

Note : If you are in the western part of the Costa del Sol and would like to visit Nerja anf Frigiliana, you can use the following link to book a tour from Málaga, Torremolinos, Mijas or Benalmadena.
About the Nerja carnival
Carnival is traditionally known as the fiesta del disfraz – the fancy dress party.
In 2024, the Nerja carnival celebrates its 40th anniversary. It has also been recognised as a Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest for the last 10 years.

The carnival will take place from 8 to 11 February 2024.
