Diving in Nerja or Torrox allows you to discover prestigious underwater sites.
For a first time: a scuba diving experience
The first dive lasts about 3 hours, including 1 hour of diving, and costs 85€.
It includes all equipment, transport to and from your accommodation within a 10km radius of the diving centre in Torrox, and also a snack with drink after the dive.
In order to give priority to quality and time spent in the water, both the first dives and the following dives are done in small groups of maximum 3 people. To book : see bottom of the page
For those who already know scuba diving
The price of a dive is 35 euros, to which must be added, if necessary, the rental of equipment and insurance for the day.
Below you will find the prices for scuba diving. The prices are different depending on whether you use a boat or not, and whether you dive during the day or at night (minimum level required at night: Open Water Diver).
Prices are per person.

A few words about Sara and Marcin, the centre’s managers
Your instructors speak Spanish, English, German, Polish and Italian.
Your instructors, Sara and Marcin, are PADI 5 Star Dive Center certified.
Marcin is also a graduate of the HSA (Handicapped Scuba Association) and will be happy to welcome and introduce people with disabilities to diving.
How does the scuba diving activity work?
The meeting point is at the centre in Torrox. Then the equipment is prepared.
Then, with the centre’s van, we go to one of the diving sites.
Some examples of dive sites around Nerja and Torrox:
Marina del Este
In Marina del Este there are 6 dive sites, ranging from 8 to 25 metres in depth. The seabed is made of sand surrounded by two beautiful reefs, which allow you to observe many animal species.
At the end of 2022, several long-finned pilot whales stayed in the bay for a few days. A loud and repetitive sound could be heard underwater. Curiously, they are called whales but they are a species of dolphin:
La Herradura
In La Herradura, there are 4 dive sites, from 6 to 20 meters deep. The fauna and flora is dense and offers a magnificent spectrum of colours.
Crabs can also be seen.
El Barco del Arroz in Torrox
This site offers a wreck dive. This boat is located at a depth of 6 metres, close to the coast in Torrox – and very close from Nerja too – and is 80 metres long, with the nickname of barco del arroz (see its history).
It is now a shelter for many marine species.
It has been a sanctuary for marine life since 1937.

You will be contacted by the instructor guide to confirm the time and place of the meeting. The day and time slots may depend on the weather and available places.
We will also check that the medical conditions are favourable for everyone according to the activity requested.
