A few words about Alfarnate
Alfarnate is a beautiful white village in Axarquia, in the province of Malaga.

Dates of the Cherry Festival
The 2024 cherry festival has been replaced by a craft market. The drop in the volume of cherries harvested means that the usual festival cannot be held.
However, on 15 June 2024, there will be a craft market offering a wide range of local and artisanal products, including of course the sale of the famous and delicious Alfarnate cherries.
The festival is traditionally held on the third Saturday in June.
Programme
The day begins at 12 noon.
This small trade fair will feature a number of stalls. There will be cherries, of course, but also other local products such as bread, sweets, vegetables, oil, cured meats, liqueurs and honey.
